Rachel began practicing yoga in 2008 while she was in high school. Yoga has helped her to manage stress and anxiety in her own life, as well as foster a positive and loving self-respect. She received her 200-level yoga teacher certification from Poonam Gupta in 2018. As a teacher, she aims to guide her students towards inner calm, help students establish their own mindfulness practice, and nurture their own self-love. She likes to incorporate world music from around the world into her hatha classes, as well as breathwork, philosophy, and yoga theory. Some of Rachel’s other interests and hobbies are hiking, environmental conservation, jewelry making, and hula hooping.
